| A Cincinnati native, Tom first started his photographic endeavours in the 1980's while in high school. Faculty and students quickly began to notice that Tom's photographic skills were often equal to many of the professional photographers who did work for the school district and hence Tom was then offered many of the school's paid photo assignments. Degrees from Miami University and Antonelli Institute of Art and Photography followed and requests from friends to photograph weddings and other events began Tom's current passion for wedding photography. Tom went on to either study or work with such well known photographers as Monte Zucker, David Ziser, Denis Reggie, Stephen Rudd, and Joe Buissink. Combining what he has learned from others with his own creative instincts, Tom has developed a distinct style that sets him apart from most other photographers in the region. Mixing elements of photojournalism, fashion portraiture, and architectural photography, Tom's work has merited many elite awards and given him the opportunity to photograph a number of high profile weddings in the area. |
